Before I started draw out actual poses and movements of my character I decided to analyze the way spider moves. My character anatomy is the most similar to spider's, therefore I decided to reference it.
The scene from 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' has a scene where a cave spider is tortured by 3 unforgivable curses. It is a great reference, because same as my character this cave spider is gonna feel pain. As well there is it's death scene, which would be useful as well, considering that my character mentally dies.
